Swing Sculpture
This Swing is the most coveted design in the studio. Enjoyed by young and old alike, this is a pleasure to see and use in private gardens, urban spaces or public parks.
The simple satisfaction of swinging is reflected in the very simple form of the design. It rises from the ground like a wind-blown blade of grass. Tapering from a wide stem to a more elegant top as it curves gracefully.
The traditional ‘Rope & Oak seat’ is a great bit of all the nostalgia and suits private gardens. We supply it with a ‘Chain & Rubber seat’ for more public spaces
Quality Craftsmanship & Style
The early versions of the swing were handmade in Oak. Solid boards were glu-laminated into a curving beam shape.
In order to increase the Swing’s feasibility and distribution, they are now fabricated in galvanised steel. This ensures that they are simply too robust to suffer any damage during transport or installation. They are suitable for for public and private spaces with little maintenance. Customers can paint them in a colour of their choice.
The price of the Swing is €2950 including Vat.
Logistics:
Ireland Based: We can organise delivery and installation for addresses within Ireland. we can supply a price based on your location.
For Export: Installation can be carried out by a local contractor to the specification supplied. The swing is packaged into a purpose built crate of 1.2m x 4m and suitable for sea and road freight. You will need a forklift to receive the delivery.
For worldwide shipping, we can quote for freight if you contact us with your address. As a gauge, the US is approximately €1750 for the freight and a crate. UK and Europe is approximately €700 for freight and a crate.
