The original knife wrap was designed for a selection of handmade knives by Fingal Ferguson, a magnificient craftsman in Gubbeen, Co.Cork.

We wanted a method of holding the knives securely for carrying, which would still display the beauty of the knives when open. Our solution was to have narrow but robust leather binders pinching firmly against the flat of each blade.

The main body of the wrap is in a 3-4mm thick leather hide to ensure it will withstand a long working life. The leather folds easily as it softens and is a pleasure to use.

Large: A two-panel Wrap. One side with 4 knives, one side with 3 knives

Medium: A single panel that can hold 3 knives or 4 knives. Please specify a preference when ordering.

Small: A narrow panel that holds 1 – 2 knives. Please specify your knife sizes when purchasing.

We should be able to customise other sizes and layouts to individuals needs. Feel free to contact us with the spec and sizes of your knives.

Our items are handmade on receipt of an order.

For small technology covers and accessories, the lead time in the workshop is 1-2 weeks before dispatch.

1. Which colour options are available for your handmade leather products?
Each product page displays the standard available colours.

2. Can I request a custom colour if I don't see an option that I like?
Yes! If you have a specific colour in mind that's not listed, please contact us. We'll be happy to discuss possibilities and check availability.

3. Do custom colour requests affect the production time of my order?
Custom colours may require additional time to source and prepare. We will inform you of any changes to the production timeline before confirming your order.

4. How do you select the leather used in your products?
We handpick each hide from trusted suppliers to ensure it meets our standards for quality, texture and durability.

5. Can I choose the type of leather for my order?
Yes, for most of our products we give the choice of Smooth Grain and Character Grain leather. If this choice is not available, or if you have any specific requests, please contact us.

Leather care

Any traditional cream, polish or wax will work well to preserve the leather in your bag.

Applied with a cloth or a brush and buff to a high finish.
